Laundry Luv Partners With Concho Valley PAWS for Suds & Pups Adoption Event

Part of Laundry Luv’s mission is to do more than just laundry—we create community. Through local partnerships, events, and outreach efforts, Laundry Luv serves as a place where support and community come together. 

On June 14th, Laundry Luv proudly partnered with Concho Valley PAWS to hold a small dog adoption event outside of our Sherwood location. From 10am-2pm, the people of San Angelo were able to come by and check out some of the adoptable dogs Concho Valley PAWS had to offer.

In partnership with Concho Valley PAWS, and to help do more for adoptees, anyone who adopted a dog was entered in a raffle for a $50 Laundry Card to Laundry Luv. Adoptees also had the chance to win a free grooming session from Concho Valley PAWS. By the end of the adoption event, three dogs were able to find their furever home.

Concho Valley PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) is San Angelo's largest non-profit organization dedicated to pets. Their mission is to save homeless animals from euthanasia, find loving homes for adoptable pets, and increase and encourage public awareness of spay and neuter to control the unwanted pet population. Located next to the City of San Angelo Animal Shelter at 3134 N US Highway 67, San Angelo, TX 76905, Concho Valley PAWS is a wonderful organization that is dedicated to a great cause.

We are grateful for the opportunity to work with such an amazing organization. The employees at Sherwood also had a great time working with Concho Valley PAWS, and they can’t wait to partner with them again in the future. Sherwood’s manager, Alex Esparza, who worked closely with Concho Valley PAWS for the event said, “I think the event went well, I wish they had brought some kittens with them, but for my sake it was probably best they didn’t lol. 10/10 event! Would love to do it again sometime.”
